Festive Happy Birthday Cookies & More

Still raining in Pittsburgh with not much sunshine yet for the first week of May, but I'm thinking summer colors! I really like these new colors of lime green, aqua blue, creamsicle orange and fuchsia pink. The Birthday cakes are very popular with our Cookie Gifts as they can be added to any homemade cookie assortment. Add a decorated Birthday Sugar Cookie to a box of freshly baked Chocolate Chip cookies and you've got a winner for any Birthday celebration. I also like the simplicity of the Daisy Cookies for the spring and summer!

We're shipping sweet  Mother's Day Gifts today so I took one more photo of these adorable shoes and purse cookies. The combination of Pink and chocolate brown is nice too. I think we may add some other colors this summer for this line of decorated cookies. Maybe some chocolate brown with turquoise blue? Black is nice for handbags and shoes but not for cookies so I'm not sure about that combination.  The problem with black is a lot of food dye is required for the frosting to attain the perfect black shade. So I think we will stay with more neutral colors. Maybe a tan and blue??

Sugar Cookies in colors of Rainbow Sherbert

The colors of these new birthday cookies remind me of Rainbow Sherbert, so delicious looking! We've decided to brighten up some colors with the summer coming. I still love chocolate brown and blue and chocolate brown and pink and chocolate brown and well, any other color really, but these new ones are a nice change. A cute Birthday party set of cookies. We took 97 photos of cookies yesterday, what a day! Many were discarded but I'll post some of the better ones over the next week or so.

Birthday Cookies

It's nice to enjoy a Birthday Cake on your birthday, but if it's not possible to have a cake delivered, I think homemade, gourmet birthday cookies will fit the bill for sweets on the special day. Birthday Cookie Gifts wrapped with bright and cheerful colors of tissue paper and colorful ribbons will also help to create a birthday gift memorable. I especially like a new item we're offering online called the Birthday Bakery Box. The chocolate brown gift box includes a sampling of fresh baked homemade cookies, buttery shortbread in assorted flavors, wonderful, homey chocolate brownies and a sweet decorated Happy Birthday Cookie. Tied with our new birthday ribbons in shades of blue and cream , we can ship this gift anywhere in the US and it arrives in 2-3 Business Days!

The latest Colors for Cookies

Lime green and chocolate Brown frostings look great on our hand-rolled sugar birthday cookies. We also came up with a teal green/blue color that looks just right for a summer birthday.
