Black & Gold Pittsburgh Gingerbread

Ok, so our Pittsburgh Steelers need some fan support today. Anyone who lives in Pittsburgh will understand.

Christmas Cookie Baking

Gingerbread Cookies with Personality!
Each of our decorators here at the bakery has her own flair with decorating. During the holiday season, it's fun to get a little creative. Gingerbread boys seem to look great no matter the outfit! And they all taste wonderful. We'll be adding them to our assorted gift boxes this year as the featured cookie of the month in December is Gingerbread.

Mom's Christmas Sugar Cookies

These wonderful melt-in-your mouth sugar cookies are "Mom's Sugar Cookies". We bake the cookies from scratch using unbleached flour, butter, pure vanilla, eggs and sugar. After hand-rolling and cutting with scalloped cookie cutters, we bake and then frost with our own homemade buttercream frosting and finish with festive sprinkles. They are old-fashioned and wonderful. Simple, yes, but they'll remind you of cookies baked at home.

GINGERBREAD COOKIES

We are starting to plan our Christmas Holiday baking. This year we've decided to continue Gingerbread boys, they were so popular last year! This year we've added Christmas trees and Holiday gift packages in colors of red, green and white. I'm sure we'll be adding a couple others, maybe a stocking? Love this time of year prior to all the craziness which starts after Thanksgiving. Right now, it's mostly planning and stocking up, making boxes, ordering gorgeous ribbons.
